A Graduate Research Immunology Associate is required for a fantastic Biotech company based in London who focus on the development of precisely targeted, controlled and highly active T Cell therapies for cancer.
The Graduate Research Immunology Associate will closely collaborate with other team members and contribute to the development of processes suitable for manufacture and analysis of high-quality cell-based products. Providing expertise in molecular biology, cell culture and analytical methods such as flow cytometry, ELISA and qPCR.

Key responsibilities for the Graduate Research Immunology Associate includes:
Work as part of team to develop and/or optimise cell-based potency analytical procedures.
Perform regular maintenance of suspension/adherent cells in culture, cell counting using automated cell counter. Support team in generation and maintenance of cell banks.
Undertake method qualification/validation as per project requirements.
Perform regular instrument maintenance (when required)
Attention to detail, maintain accurate and clearly written laboratory notebooks.
Perform regular stock check of reagents and consumables.
Compile development reports and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Assist in technology transfers including providing training on the analytical procedure as per project requirements.
Work with external service providers as per project requirements.
The post-holder will be responsible for adhering to all health and safetyguidance provided by the company.
Qualifications and skills required:
Hands-on experience with the culture of mammalian cells, both adherent and suspension.
Immaculate aseptic technique.
Hands-on experience with cell-based assays and techniques relevant to viral vector biology (transfection, transduction, flow cytometry).
Experience with flow cytometry.
MSc / BSc educated or equivalent in Immunology, Biology/Biochemistry or related discipline with relevant industry or academic experience
Good understanding of immunology and cell biology.
Familiar with good laboratory practices.
Ability to present results clearly and logically.
Proactive and flexible personality with enthusiasm to learn.
Good attention to detail and ability to accurately follow SOPs and protocols.
Comfortable to work in a fast-paced industry environment.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, DOE and any other relevant applications.
