Surbiton
Surbiton is a commuter town on the River Thames in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, one of only four Royal Boroughs in the UK. The town is approximately 10 miles south east of the centre of London and has excellent road and public transport links into London the rest of the UK. Surbiton is viewed as archetypal suburb, rejoicing in the nickname “Suburbiton”. In addition to its convenient location for commuting, Surbiton is great place to live or visit thanks to its attractive riverside location, 500 shops and easy access to popular tourist attractions including Hampton Court, Kew Gardens, Richmond Park and Chessington World of Adventures. The popular TV series “The Good Life” was set in Surbiton.
